An Economy for the Many

As District 47’s representative, I will work to build an economy that works for the many, not the powerful few.

Nancy Larson believes Ohio should have an economy that benefits the many, not just the few. Putting in hard work should still be enough to earn a good life, but that is no longer the case for some. Nancy will fight for a coordinated initiative to create and sustain good paying jobs that brings together state government, business, labor, and local officials to achieve sustained opportunity.

This includes:
  • Specific short-term programs to help workers and families get through the economic hardships created by the coronavirus.

  • A living wage and safe work environment for all employed Ohioans.

  • Respect for prevailing wage and project labor agreements and collective bargaining

  • Creating a predictable path to the middle class for workers without college degrees through coordinated job training and apprenticeship programs
