How do I vote by mail?

To vote by mail, you must first submit a signed absentee ballot request form to the local Board of Elections (BOE). Once this has been received and approved, your information will be kept on file until the early voting period begins on Tuesday October 6. The Board of Elections will begin mailing out ballots at that time. 

 

You can download an absentee ballot request form here (English) or here (Spanish). Please be sure to fill out completely as instructed and sign and date. It’s also a good idea to include your phone number so the BOE can contact you about any incorrect or incomplete information. If you don’t have a printer at home, fill out this short form and we'll mail it to you!

Absentee ballot request form tips:

o   In Section 6, Mark “November 3, 2020” for date of election.
o   Check box “General Election”

The completed form must be submitted to the Board of Elections.
